This illustration was a collaboration between Plastered 8 and Japanese artist Akira. Part of our opera series this piece features Guan Yu a Peking opera legend drinking Beijing’s most famous modern day spirit “Er Guo Tou” also known as “Xiao Er”. Guan Yu has his eyes closed as he enjoys the smell.
