China’s Icons… Now Stained in Glass

Plastered worked with 3 different artists to portray 5 of China’s most revered leaders in the honourable tradition of stained glass. Deng Xiao Ping, Zhou En Lai, Jian Zi Ming, Lei Feng and Mao were each depicted 8 times in 40 unique windows.

All the windows were handmade in Nanjing. We launched these beautiful art works at Surge Art, and two of the windows are now permanently installed in our shops. Stop by our flagship store on Nanlouguxiang to see Deng Xiao Ping, and Lei Feng can be seen in our 798 shop.
