Pop Opera-The series that created Guo Chao

We started this series in 2015 and the first piece went on a t-shirt and sold out fast, so we created more and more. The details in this artwork are incredible and each piece took about 2 months to complete. The concept was quite simple, east meets west, old meets new. It worked and gave birth to the whole “Guo Chao” aesthetic in China. In fact it also became a bit of a problem for us as this artwork got ripped off and copied more than any other artwork we have ever produced. Big and small companies used it, and changed it. We have good lawyers that go after them now.
